Gypsy Costume

Believe it or not, this one was designed out of boredom. It's a bit of a funny story, but the short of it is, my high school class of 2005 was the first to have to take the High School Exit Exam. Since I couldn't pass it, I had to take summer school math. In that class during a break, I brought out my little Katrina and started playing around with making her a new outfit. My math teacher was actually quite impressed with this design and thought my tiny beadwork and rolled hem were very well done.

The skirt is pink satin with a flowery pattern on it, the bodice is tiny lace flowers with beads on it. Both close up with ribbon and are completely removeable. She also carries a tiny tambourine to complete the costume. The tambourine is sequins, ribbons and beads. Polly Pocket actually models the costume here while sitting on her horse sidesaddle and walking down the aisle on my little wooden fashion stage. This is just the right dress if your 1/2" scale doll wants a tiny swirling skirt.
